lindsaycb
I'm making lip balm with the Oregon Trails Olive Esters base....but I swear I pour half a bottle into my little 4oz batches to get any taste. What's up with that? I have Java something or other and I'm not getting any coffee out of it. Groovin' Grape smells alright, but the taste? Where is it? Does it just taste sweet versus Grape Sweet? TexasBrat
I tried the jumpin java and I didn't notice it to be very coffee like at all. I like the wild berry burst and cherry. I ruined an entire batch using the honey flavored one....it was nasty. I have tried their banana and root beer, they are okay.
tokki2005
I ruined an entire batch using the honey flavored one....it was nasty. What do you mean by nasty? Did it turn out too sweet? or the taste is just not right at all? I am thinking of making mine into simple honey taste. Would appreciate the experience you had...thanks
TexasBrat
The flavor of the honey was just gross. I had bought a lip base and added the honey to it and the base was great but the scent was nausiating. I even let others try it and they thought the same thing. This was the one bought from BCN so it wasn't straight honey.
Sherie
I can't vouch for BCN but I can tell you MMS has some good ones.
AngelaVA
I love BCN, but that honey flavor oil smells like cat pee. I made a batch and thought it kinda stunk, but then though hey, maybe it's just me, you know? Well, DH comes home from work, kisses me and then asked why my mouth tasted like cat pee. It doesn't smell or taste anything like honey. It's rather nasty, imho.I love the wildberry though - it is really nice and no cat odor at all. MommaD
BCN wildberry is very good, just about the only one I have had success with.
siberia
Not to take away from this board, but if you go to "The Scent Review Board"and scroll down to the bottom, there is a review section for flavor oils.
