Brat
Sorry for another idiotic question, but how the heck do you get the wick sticky sticker things off the bottom of a container? These are stuck good!
3-boys-4-me
I am sure someone will chime in with a better idea, but I typically just pry them off with an old butter knife. HTH
Brat
I tried that at first, but came close to gouging out my eye, then thought I might break the glass...
MichelleOH
I stick my jar in the oven for a bit then it is gooey enough to get off:cool2:
Gypsyjen
I hit the bottom of the jar with the heat gun to loosen up the goo.
3-boys-4-me
How about that stuff called Goo Gone or something like that. I think you can buy it at the Home Depot or Lowes.
Brat
I hit the bottom of the jar with the heat gun to loosen up the goo.Well, I don't have a heat gun, but my hubby has a butane torch in the garage... hmmm fire.... Might have to stop at Home Depot too, those things are just driving me nuts! Thanks for the replies!
sudsnwicks
I use a pair of pliers to pull them out.
AngelaVA
Pliers first. If that doesn't work, Goo Gone. That stuff works wonders.
Pam W
Brat, you could try a blowdryer..it might heat the bottom of jar enough to loosen the goo. Personally. I'd stay away from the blow torch;)
