Candle Science FOs in soy

Some of you have raved about how the Candle Science scents that are marked by them as being good in soy really are. Are you using 1 oz or 1 1/2 oz of these in your wax?

We use 1oz per pound and that works for most scents from Candle Science. But, we have noticed that few would be better with more than 1oz.

1oz pp as a rule.. anything that needs more isnt worth my time. The only ones I had trouble with being a bit too light for my tastes was coconut (but its nice in B&B and CP...) and sweet pea needed some tlc... thats the one and only FO I will use more of to get the scent I want. with that, I need more like 1 1/2 but its one of the best sweet pea's I've found, so I deal with it on that one.

I use 1.5oz. The only fos I use less in are WickYourWax (BCN).

1 to 1.5 pp depending on the oil

The leaf rating they use is really accurate imo so if it's a 2 leaf rating I will use 1.5 but the 3 leaf ones 1 oz pp works nicely

I don't really bother with the 1 leaf rating oils as I know it will probably be too weak for candles.

Agree with others....1 oz/lb. Some fragrances are absolutely beautiful scents, but on the soft/mild side. If it's one we really like...then we may go up on it...or just settle for b&b.
