RetroMetroChic
Anyone care to share what they use, I love BW Honey Gingerbread but think it may be too spicy for lotion.
Candybee
Why? Its both bath and body safe so you can use it in lotion. I make gingerbread soap with it and sell a lot. Also, the amount you need in lotion should never be enough to irritate your skin anyway.Southern Soapers also carries a body safe gingerbread called Iced Gingerbread. She tests all her oils for safety.
RetroMetroChic
Yes I know I could use the honey gingerbread but I was thinking a less spicy type of gingerbread something like Philosophy Gingerbread man would be nicer on the body. scrochet
I agree with RetroMetroChic a little less spice for b&b.Sheli
carol k
I just noticed AH has a gingerbread brulee that I'll bet would be good for B&B. They also have a gingerbread pumpkin or pumpkin gingerbread.
Sharon in KY
I love BW's Honey Gingerbread. How about some sugar cookie mixed in to town down the spice. I would love this smell in a lotion.
scrochet
I ordered each one of the gingerbread scents from AH/RE in the scent event sale I will do a review of each one after I get themSheli
Candybee
If you like the Honey Gingerbread from BW but think its too spicy she has some other gingerbread oils; Gingerbread Latte or the Pumpkin Gingerbread. If you can't use one of those in your soap you are missing out on some great oils.Or-- you can add a vanilla or cappuchino to the Honey Gingerbread to mellow it out.Personally, I love the Honey Gingerbread in soap. Haven't tried it in lotion as I doubt that would sell here but the soap sells like hotcakes in the fall and holiday season. People love them as stocking stuffers.
