andrealh1975
I was just wondering what everyone was using to transport your items in when you go to shows, etc. Does anyone use those plastic Rubbermaid containers with the wheels? I was wondering how those worked.

sudsnwicks
I have been manually carrying the boxes. Sigh, it is almost like moving house.
clc404
I also bought a hand truck. I should have bought one along time ago. Very handy when you don't have anyone to help you.clc404Cheryl C
Meridith
I have several big crates with wheels on one end. I also have a dolly but found the crates to be easier as I can pack all my stuff in them and shove them in the back of our vehicle. I got mine from Lowes. LynnS
I have a hand truck but this last time I just carried one thing at a time. There was a slight step and wondered how I could get 7 cases of candles up that without spilling them all.So I carried them by myself.A few at a time. The totes with tarts were fine but could have used that too but that step was a obstacle. At home carried it to my car also.Steps.So needless to say I crashed very early and slept late.I was totally exhausted.More than ever. My husband works some week-ends so if I cannot set up the night before I have to do it myself. That is why the craft shows setting up that morning are killers for me.I got it all done though in 1 hour.Don't ask me how????Oh I was where you walk in and right in front of everything.I think they were wondering where that lady is with 2 big tables.I was the last to come and set up but I was done by sale time.I told them I carted it all by myself. This is the problem with soy or I would have all in my car the night before.I don't want my pretty colors changing because of the cold now. andrealh1975
I have been manually carrying the boxes. Sigh, it is almost like moving house.I've been carrying boxes too and it is NOT fun!!! I just found something at Target that I think may work well...It's $39.99 and once I get a dolly/hand truck I'll be fine!! :-)
Guest EMercier
At first I was carrying everything and I was tired and it took me forever to bring my stuff in. Then I saw people using handtrucks and such, so I bought one and it works. Now I want something flat so that at the most I make 2 trips. Crying Moon
I have one of those rubbermaid containers with the wheels on one end.I love it, and I hate it!!Love it cause it holds a ton of stuff and fits in my hatchback nicely, but I hate it because it's very ackward to pull, and gets very heavy. It would be great if it had a longer handle or something.
andrealh1975
Where did you get your container from?
BACKWOODS
We use the rubbermaid totes and pack our candles in their boxes inside them. We get 5 (1 dozen) boxes in each toteIt works great...and oh yes the dolly we bought from Lowes was the best $35 we ever spent!!!
Crying Moon
I found mine at Lowes. ( if you don't have one in your area, it's like a Home Depot store) It was around $
sueb50
I use my grandkids red wagon with wooden sides. Great to load up and pull into places. I loan it out to other crafters when I'm done. Really slick!
ScentsandMore
I use my crates (with handles) that are stained which can be used as part of my display. I can get two dozen 8 oz. jars in their own boxes in each crate. I thought about the tubs but I do this by myself and I think the tubs would be hard for me to carry. Meridith
You can also find the dollys or had trucks at Harbor Freight for very reasonable prices. That is where I got mine.
Scented
We use about three of these and the wheels don't hold up all that well, but boy when they're on there they're great!
