Lucsimond
The dolls are done in single crochet in the round. The rounds are never joined, instead being worked in a spiral. Amigurumi are made up of parts that are crocheted, stuffed, and sewn together. The parts are usually an over-sized round head, a cylindrical body, arms and legs, ears, tail and embellishments._______________Indian textile tradition Edited May 26, 2010 by Lucsimond

donna4909
Those are excellent! I plan on making a much simpler version for the kids Christmas gifts this year.Do you think there would be any way to safely scent these? I want it to be somewhat long lasting, but I don't want it to ruin the color. I was thinking of making a little sachet of crushed corn cob to put inside the dolls... DeAnna_EC
you can definitely put a sachet in them, just make sure its closed up.Ive made little chocolate bunnies, with scented sachets in them, i just wrapped it up with fiber fill stuffed it into the bunny and then stuffed around it.
