Starr
Yeah, this is the second candle listing I've seen in 2 days that has made me want to wretch. The first was just as bad... ugh.

kyme1911
I seen one like that, but they use the wax left over from church candles.

Starr
I guess if you're using the same type of wax everytime... eh, maybe it's not SO bad not my cuppa tea but seems at least somewhat safer. But to throw words like 'any' and 'all' out there.... scary stuff.
Starr
*sigh*I really can't decide who's worse, this scrap wax lady or the one who swears that her tarts don't mask odors but rather eliminate them because she uses 'commercial grade' scents. Somedays... humans annoy me.
LuminousBoutique
only some days?
Candybee
I recycle my wax all the time... for myself. I know I would never buy a candle made from questionable wax and I don't think most people would. But there are probably suckers that think because its recycled its a good thing and saving energy and they will probably buy them. Ugh! The horror... the horror... Starr
Oh, I found this woman's page on the site, she apparently sells a lot of these. They're eco friendly, you know. :rolleyes2
Bernadette
What is the site? Do you have a link to an auction?
Starr
No, I didn't save any of the auction links... I was too disgusted. The site is Listia, it's kind of like eBay meets Freecycle, very cool concept but it does seem to bring the stupid out in some people. toadallysoy
Wow! And I never thought I'd find a place to get rid of the boxes of half burned candles in my basement....lots of old test burn jars down there just waiting for a new home. lol
Bernadette
Excuse me...but do I understand that site right? You bid free points on things that really cost you nothing?! Very seldom...if ever...are "things" worth having free. And if they are free, no one is bidding on them.:tiptoe:
Starr
Actually, I've gotten some nice things there. The credit system is pretty decent and most people are nice enough. I wouldn't go shopping for a new computer there for example, but DVD's, CD's, DH's got a few things... some scrapbooking stuffs, etc... Jenny
I am going to have to look at this site and figure what is going on here. Confused. People really want to pay $10.00 for these!? Even if it is for shipping, they are PAYING money for this...crazy.
