Ripples

Recommended Posts

Does anyone know why this happens? I have used straight paraffin with 2% vybar 103, 10% stearine, 6% FO plus 1 dye chip. Used exactly the same proportions with a pink dye chip and a different FO and got a smooth top. Any answers will be helpful. TIA.

I know that too much vybar can cause that to happen. Are you sure that's a straight paraffin? OK6228 (a preblend) does that, however, my straight paraffin has never done that...hummmm...I can't think of anything else but I'm sure some one will chime in on this one. Ooops! Looks like Top beat me to the punch.

Sometimes it will go away if you zap the brains with a heat gun to smooth it out. Always have known the culprit to be too much vybar.

I have some of my wax do this also and I do what scented suggested and zap the brains with the heat gun,,,I love my heat gun:p
