Mozzie Posted November 23, 2005 Share Posted November 23, 2005 Does anyone know why this happens? I have used straight paraffin with 2% vybar 103, 10% stearine, 6% FO plus 1 dye chip. topofmurrayhill Posted November 23, 2005 Share Posted November 23, 2005 Yes that's from the generous addition of Vybar.I don't know why you got a smooth top under other circumstances but ripples are normal with Vybar and certain other polymer additives. OK6228 (a preblend) does that, however, my straight paraffin has never done that...hummmm...I can't think of anything else but I'm sure some one will chime in on this one. Ooops!
