didismagic Posted November 20, 2005 Share Posted November 20, 2005 Hello chandlers,I was wondering if any of you know where I can purchase votive wick pins that cover the entire bottom of the votive cup. The ones I have don't cover the entire bottom so it's still possible for me to get crooked wicks if I don't eyeball it just right, and I'm damn near legally blind so that's a challenge. I feel the ones I use can be dropped right in, but they're pretty ordinary. The actual problem I find is that the pins sometimes need to be straightened when you get them.Are you using the standard votives cups? siberia Posted November 22, 2005 Share Posted November 22, 2005 I get my wick pins from Peaks. In the standard votive cup they fit perfectly...no wiggle room. In the other three votive sizes I make (octagon, square and poly) I have to be sure they are centered. Also, there are usually a few pins that need to be straightened as top mentioned.
