FarmerJill Posted March 22, 2009 Posted March 22, 2009 I'm not usually into cutesy stuff but I was asked to make something as favors for a shower. So I did a few of the flowering loofa soaps using the muffin tin method but then started playing around with some molds and liked it better. The yellow one was with clear base which is what the tutorial recommended. But, wow, I really like using the white base because the color of the loofa shows through to make a marbled effect. The hearts are 3 oz. molds with mini loofas. The hummingbird is bigger with a fullsize loofa on the back. Ditto the pink one which I turned over to show how much loofa sticks out of that thing. It's a handful but it works great in the shower Quote
Rae Posted March 23, 2009 Posted March 23, 2009 They are all so pretty. I love making soaps with the loofahs. and more so I love using them in the shower. Rae Quote
Louise Posted March 23, 2009 Posted March 23, 2009 Those turned out great! You know, you can take those puffs apart and cut them in half and then tie them back up. That would cut down some on the wad of puff..... only if you don't like that big wad of puff Quote
Billie Posted March 29, 2009 Posted March 29, 2009 I don't know how I missed this one. Those are so neat and pretty colors too. I have some of those molds and love them. Quote
