It was actually 2 patterns, one for a drawstring bag and one for a cushion cover. I used the bag's general pattern and then used the design of the cushion cover. The patterns are from the book The Ultimate Quilting and Patchwork Companion by Isabel Stanley and Jenny Watson, which I borrowed from the library.This bag is for me, but I'll be making a few more to use as gifts. I wear a lot of bohemian or gypsy looking stuff, and I could see having that with more rustic patterned patches and using it for a tote or purse.
