I add my fragrance at 165-170. Some people like to add fragrance at a higher temp. It could possibly be that the fragrance you are using just doesn't do well in soy. But I wouldn't know for sure because I have never used that specific gingerbread FO. I do like to let mine sit for a couple of days before I test them.

I believe you should let them cure if for no other reason than to give your nose a break from that FO so when you do burn/melt them you are walking in to it fresh.

Let it cure, walk away from it for a while and come back. Candle nose can be terrible. It's very possible that you've got a good throw and just don't know it yet.
