regeon
I tried the above recipe in a smaller batch and wow does it ever foam!!
Dolphin146
Use 1 cup Baking Soda3/4 cup Citric Acid4 Tablespoons of FOI allways make it this way and have never had it foam on me. But be careful some of the FO"S can cause the mixture to get rock hard.
addicted2candles
I just got some citric acid in last week. I'm going to try this for my sink. I was thinking of using a nice lemony scent. Anyone have any particular scents they'd recommend?
regeon
I mean it really boils and foams when it hits the water. I had no problem mixing.I did mine in a lemon scent. I think I may try lime next.

Darbla
I just got some citric acid in last week. I'm going to try this for my sink. I was thinking of using a nice lemony scent. Anyone have any particular scents they'd recommend?I made mine out of some cinnamon FO that I thought was too weak in my candle wax. I'm not selling them, so I have no issue with using up the FOs that didn't work out in other applications and giving these out as gifts. CandleMama6
How do you use this? Sounds like something my stinky sink could use!!
Darbla
I plug the sink, drop in a couple spoonfuls of the freshener, run some hot water in it, let sit for however long it takes me to get back to it, then scrub around, drain, rinse. jennyjo
I just got some citric acid in last week. I'm going to try this for my sink. I was thinking of using a nice lemony scent. Anyone have any particular scents they'd recommend?I love the Lemon Pound Cake from Bitter Creek South. That would make a great sink freshener. I gets rid of any bad kitchen smells when I burn my candles made with it. It has just enough sweet to make it a nice tolerable lemon scent. Highly recommend it! Oh, and it's very strong too.Jen
Winter_Willow
Just a few questions, How do you package these and is this safe for all sink types.
Sharon in KY
What's a good price for the citric acid? I saw $2.59 per lb if you buy 2-10 lbs but that seems really high. TIA
