I have a recipe from BCN's newsletter. 2 cups baking soda 1 cup citric acid 4 Tablespoons FO Mix - let dry, then bag. I've not tried it yet, but I just got my citric acid in today - so I'll be doing some playing this week!

Hello! This is my first post, but I've been following you guys for quite some time. I've gotten some very valuable advise from this forum! :smiley2: However, I've been searching for "what people think of the 1274 hot throw". (Sorry, if there is a post and I missed it.) I'd love to know what people thought of the 1274 HT. I've been playing around with making mottled votives. (1274 (1 lb) - 1 oz FO pp (Just Scent - Chestnuts & Brown Sugar) - 1 drop of dye - 2 Tablespoons Steric. I get great mottle, great cold throw, but my hot throw is very weak! I'm trying different wicks, cottons, LX, HTP, my next is CDs. I'm having a heck of a time getting a great hot throw. I'd love to know if others can get a great hot throw with this wax as a votive. Thanks in advance for your help.
