jdscreations
Okay, I have finally finished my website and need to get it onto the web. I was considering Bravenet or Anglefire. But I'm not sure. I would really like your opinions on some webhost. Prefer a free provider, but if they are reasonable that is fine. TIA.
sudsnwicks
I use Go Daddy and find them to be both reliable and reasonably priced. I paid around $8 (annual fee) to register my domain name with them. Web hosting is something like $3.95 a month. If you can afford a paid domain, I'd say go for it, as it gives you more credibility as a real business who's here to stay. Linnyeg
I definitely agree with sudsnwicks. I also use godaddy, and if you're planning on going at this as a business it really is much better to have your own domain name. And it's much easier for people to remember! Indescent
I was with 1and1, and liked them, but was really irritated with all the extra stuff I had to pay/do when I wanted to add a store to my wedding site.So I moved to bytesweb.com. Its 3.95 per month and I got the first month free.
