lindanelson
This is an ice candle that I made yesterday. I'm calling it "tuxedo candle". I used IGI 2778 palm wax from letitshine with Vanilla Anise from CS.A thought that just came to me...I've got some red ribbon that is pretty stiff...I'm going to put some around the middle to see what that looks like. lindanelson
Does this look better?
Jojo T.
IMO it didn't need to be made any better as it's great all on its own. I love it. If I was putting ribbon on it, I would choose a silver one, or black. Well done!
lindanelson
Thanks Jo. I went ahead and wrapped this one up. Well use it for what I made it for. I'm offering these in a few scents. They will be colored according to the scent. So, if I use ribbon, color coordinate it to the candle?
Jojo T.
I would, however sometimes what looks good at the time with whatever you have on hand works too. In other words, go with what feels right. I sound like I'm raving now. Sorry! LOL

Camay
Looks like a cow! I mean that in a good way...
pixisprkl
Looks like a cow! I mean that in a good way...That was what I thought too... but that is because I LOVE cow prints... I can definitely see it as a "tuxedo" as well.
lindanelson
I know...growing up on a dairy farm with holstein cows...that's why I thought about the ribbon around the middle.I'm going to be making these in different colors also. Maybe then they won't look so much like a cow.
