pixisprkl
I do not smell lime in the hot throw at all.... if it is there, it is subtle. It is a really LOVELY scent... and a great thrower. :smiley2:
SliverOfWax
On a scale of 1-10, I only gave it a 7 on throw, which is OK, just not blow your doors off.I get a nice balance of violet and lime. Violet will never be as strong as lime, but I get a very nice blend.I tested it at 8% with wicks but I made a note to only use in wickless for now unless it really takes off in sales which, so far, it hasn't.Edited to add: I use comfort blend. bunkie68
I use it in GL 1825 and get good hot throw. It also makes nice scrubs and bubble bars, and has sold well for me.
Candlebuddy
I used it in 50/50 soy blend (8%) ... great cold/hot throw, but I'm not crazy about the scent ... too floral for me.
Tizimarezie
Compared to some of their other FO's, Violet Lime is more subtle. I tested it in GL 70/30 and though it threw well, it's not a knock-yer-socks-off aroma. It's a nice blend where the lime subdues the floral and visa versa. It didn't sell well for me. pixisprkl
It does have a great throw (paraffin tarts).... and I agree, it's not a headache strong scent. I really like it, which means nobody else probably will.... haha
Dolphin146
It has a great ht and ct in my 50/50 mix and my ecosoya pillar wax. It is one of my best sellers right now. Regina
Candybee
I love the scent but couldn't give away anything I put it in. I had to mix it with other oils to finally sell it. Too bad-- its a great scent. I think its just too sophisticated for my 'country' customers.
pixisprkl
Maybe the name throws people off.... I know it did me at first. I love different scents but I have had this one sitting for a while, now I wonder why I waited so long.I wonder if renaming it would help it sell... Darbla
If gave a dry oil spray made from this to a friend and called it 'Candied Violets'. 'Sugared Violets' would be another thought. I just don't get as much lime as violets from it, and it smells like candy to me.
pixisprkl
I can't place my finger on it, but I don't really smell the lime...I was thinking "violet dreams"
