TartAddict
Hi all!Okay, so believe it or not...I'm Christmas shopping I'm going to give relatives and teachers candle warmers, wickless candles, and a tile to set the warmer on. Any suggestions on where to get a nice tile (not to expensive). I looked at the Dollar Tree and they had candle plates which I wasn't sure would work since they were curved inwards like plates (I think I need a flat surface). Any ideas would be appreciated! Thanks so much D
SatinDucky
Have you tried the home improvement stores, like Lowe's or Home Depot? I haven't measured but it seems like a standard tile would be about the right size. They come in some beautiful designs and aren't that expensive if you're not tiling an entire bathroom. You couls even put felt or cork circles underneath to give it a more finished look and protect the surface. Just a thought...
Pam W
you could pick up some really pretty tiles at Home Depot or Lowes - they come in various sizes & styles.Edit: Ducky: great minds think alike, huh?
Candle Man
You can get plain ones at Home Depot. Just use some rubber dots or felt on the bottom.
TartAddict
Wow, I didn't even think of Home Depot or Lowe's (apparently I'm not one of the great minds that think alike, LOL). Thanks guys! Great suggestions. D
Pam W
TartAddict: You could get tiles to match the candles. A rustic would look great setting on a torentine(sp) tile or match a marble candle to a marbled tile. You may get some great inspiration from the tiles
darlascandles
What about using decals on the tiles to match the Holiday, or decor?
