My first M&P soap

Recommended Posts

Nothing fancy, just a round soap, no color - I used the shaving soap/heavy lather base and scented it with Backwoods' Black Irish:

I know it doesn't compare in complexity to what a lot of y'all do. But for a first outing, I think it turned out pretty well! My husband likes it and says it works well, too, so that's good to know. :)

Congrats!! Now you'll start looking at stuff around the house to use as molds... start wondering if this additive or that additive will work in MP... then you'll become a MP monster! lol

Yeah, I'm already trying to figure out what all I can add. LOL The soaps have gotten good reviews from my husband and from people who've volunteered to try them for me, so yay! :D I'm working on some for one of my swaps I'm doing on here, so whoever's in that will get to try some of my experiments.

Ha! Ain't that the truth LOL

A clear base...absolutely no air bubbles AND poured perfectly straight!

Yep, I'd say you did a great job!
