What is the general consensus on how to incorporate POP colors.

Are they added directly to the soap, mixed with oils or glycerin?

Mine arrived before I left for vacation and I'm jonesin' to try them out.

Thanks!

Thanks Digit! I saw that AFTER I posted my question. should have searched first.

I saw this question asked, but not answered...hopefully someone can pop in with the ratios?

"What ratios do you use to pre-mix your colors? I have some glycerin, and some 2oz squeeze bottles. Should I put 1oz color in the bottle then add 1oz of glycerin? :o I'm very interested in a easier method, I didnt know you could do this! Certainly makes sense to me.:smiley2:

From my notes, not experience, I have 1/2 to 2 oz to 16 oz oil or 1/2t to 1 oz. How percise is that? :rolleyes2

I think it really depends on the color and depth you want.

They few times I used micas or powders, I took about 1t of oil and mixed it. Then added some soap from pot, mixed it, then added back to the pot.

Some of the more experienced soapers will be by soon.

I used these pop micas in my f/o mix before adding it to my MP soap bases.

If this is a no no, please let me know!! LOL

What other options is there to mix into MP soap?

Meg

Hey, if it's working for you...do it!

I was asking about CP soap.

The batch I made today, I just incorporated right into my emulsified soap.

they are bright beautiful colors that we are ALL addicted to since someone was nice (or evil??) enough to host a swap!!

think there are currently multiple pics in the gallery!!

TKB is the supplier?

seems enough people are asking questions now that everyone is talking about them that someone should host another co-op

hint hint
