artcwolf
I was just goofing off and looked up the 101 uses for skin so soft and found these two itemsIt removes candle wax from furniture, carpets and clothing. Also if you ever make candles, use clear melted wax and put SSS in as it harden. Works great for outdoor use to keep the mosquitoes away. Has anyone ever used it in their candles? kandlekrazy
Never used in candles or for removing wax, but it really does keep skeeters away and flees away on dogs so it may just work in candles???
ChrisR
It definately does NOT work for mosquitoes!! I tried that crap for awhile years ago and it actually seemed to attract the bugs, especially the little bitey black flies that I'm allergic to. Stick with an essential oil combo with some catnip EO that works great!!
coconut
It works for no-see-ums aka sandfleas aka flying alligators. But I think they actually drown in the oil....
so-soy
Vicks vapor rub works good to keep the gnats away. We rub it behing our ears, etc...to keep those pests away! I also used to wear Patchouli oil just straight oil as a 'perfume' dabbed on my wrists, neck etc, and always noticed the bugs didn't bother me as much as they did others.
