Basket for Mother's Day

Recommended Posts

Hi everyone, I'm trying to be ready for mom's day, since I missed V Day (the site was still under construction). Here are a couple of shots I took for the website. I added a wick dipper free, I have some here to give as gifts.

Thanks for looking!

Love those baskets. Where did you get those boxes, they are really nice!

Thanks!! I foun those baskets/boxes in a shop I have near home. They are the smallest size and cost $1 each.

I think they can work, even if it's not a "traditional" basket.

Thanks!

I really like the cardboard basket. Nice presentation & pretty candles. The only thing I would suggest ... add a glass holder for the votives. I'm still amazed at the idiots who throw a votive on a plate & light it up, so I try to 'idiot-proof' my boxes & make it a ready to go gift. Hope you do well w/ these.

Susan.

Your candles are beautiful and the baskets are cute. :)

Now this is JMO, so take it with a grain of salt, but the baskets look a bit too large for what's in them. All the empty space between the items makes it look kinda bare. Maybe add some silk flowers as fillers or something...

They look beautiful Sabrina, well done, again. I need to get organised for a candle/jewellery party I'm having just before mother's day and need all the inspiration I can get for that, so thank you for sharing your pics. I love what you've done.

Nice work Sabrina. They are very pretty and I agree with SD.....you could add a couple of votives or floating candles in another color and it would take up some space. Even a little more of the fluffy filler helps. I used to use tons of it when I had a store and filled the baskets to the top. Then cellophane and a big bow. Made them look HUGE and expensive. I like the boxes. Those are something that I would save and use for something....like collecting all of my junk. Need-less-to-say....I have lots of "junk" boxes.....or as I call them....my treasure boxes. (smile) Sorella Donita
