candlemaker74
Hi,It seems that everywhere I look, they are discontinuing frosted jars - anyone have any idea why?I have read many threads on here where people say they love the frosted jars.... TxSioux
I've yet to see an explanation. Obviously comes down to cost ... but really, how hard is it to frost glass for mass production? I gave up & just went w/ etching my own w/ Armour Etch Bath. It's another step, but not too much of a problem to get what I want. I just wish I could figure out how to get the colored frosting. Glass paint takes away the etched finish, so it must be a process when they sandblast. Wish I knew all these answers.Susan.
SatinDucky
Maybe email a couple of the manufacturers that are discontinuing them and ask why...
candlelady
I've noticed that as well. If you are still wanting some frosted jars try www.genwax.com. They still have some.I almost forgot! Fairwayglass will frost glass for you.HTH!Carrie
Gdawg
i do hope genwax will continue with the frosted jars as that is where i get mine from. If I was a millionaire I would buy tons of one thing after i find something i love cause it seems like with everything it eventually goes away, my luck anyways
