I want to give these a try but would like to use my 100% soy. Ive found some on here who said they have used soy but didnt say if it was 100% and also didnt state the results. Toni S. Posted February 8, 2008 Share Posted February 8, 2008 I've been doing bears for quite some time now and would much rather have a bear dipped in 100% soy wax (what I use) than anything else. I tried the paraffin and I like the soft look that soy wax gives paraffin flakes too much. To answer your question, YES, 100% soy works great! I purchase EzSoy from BCN for this! Suzanne Posted February 8, 2008 Share Posted February 8, 2008 Adding some beeswax with the soy seems to work the best for me. And ALWAYS keep a plate or something underneath the bear.
