More fun with Jeff's mold

Scented

Recommended Posts

Really my mold, but bought from Jeff. I think if I were to get another I'd ask for the inserts to go to the bottom. I was hoping the sweet pea mix was at a thick enough trace it would not come up from the bottom, but it did. So this looks interesting on the outside. I hope when it's time to slice that it will be as interesting inside. For those who add a touch of milk at trace do you find it really increases the thickening process?

I was waiting for it to be in the mold 24 hours, but couldn't wait that long. I have cut them, taken pictures, but need to get to work so will post the cuts later.

Oh you are such a tease! :P Not fair! That is some gorgeous looking soap!

You've totally gone over to the dark side haven't you?

Do you even make candles anymore?

Those are gorgeous. You're a swirlin'fool.

Nah I still swing both ways, but we have had to build up some of our stock with show season starting next month and the fear that there will be nothing there. Pretty soon I'll be over to the candle side ... maybe in a couple of weeks though.

Thanks for the compliment from you and everyone else! It's been fun doing this (sorta ... I am working on taming the fairies who are awake tonight too.)

Oh creepy! I think I see Teddy Roosevelt (maybe) in the back two soaps on the right side (side by side) ... if he's a soap fairy now, he's been frozen :P

Thanks Ginger! Trying to figure out what to do with lavender now.

Hey, save those bars and put em on eBay as a "haunted" auction, lol. "Teddy Roosevelt - captured in time" :laugh2:

But seriously, they are gorgeous, love the colors, you rock!!

For Lavendar, why not have the main part the natural soap color and swirl in a little purple?
