VanillaSniffie
Does anyone hate this wax? I have started out low. CD8 Using 9% Fo, and double wicking in a short 3.5 jar. All three times, they have a constant stream of smoke. Any suggestions?
mizbizzyb
I use cd 4 with shorter jars when I use my J223
VanillaSniffie
So stick to the smaller cd's. I was going to order some cd 4's, 5's and 6's tonight because that was my thought too. Thank you bizzyb!
Sara
Yeah, definitely wick down. And if you can bring down your FO percentage that might help a bit. If you don't need to use 9% to get a decent throw, bring that down. I personally don't like to use FOs that don't throw at 6% or less. VanillaSniffie
OK so what about HTP's and ECO's or would they not burn very well? I just don't know much about this wax, Just thought I would try it because I have seen everyone's posts on it.
craftyinala
I use the LX wicks in J223 blend with soy.
BeagleBaby
I have used this wax for a long time by itself and mixed with Nature C3 wax and have found with just the J223 that you need to wick up. A CD10 to a Cd12 in a 9oz hex jar (depending on the fragrance) and 2 x Cd12 in 16oz apothecary.
VanillaSniffie
Thank you. All of your suggestions are helping so much. I love ya guys!
ReneeM
We use the Eco 14's with that diameter of jar and NOT double wicking. You could be getting your wax too hot. We also use the C3 wax and have found that we have to wick up just a bit in order to get a room-filling hot throw.
