Dolphin146
I found this interesting item here http://www.yankeecandle.com/cgi-bin/ycbvp/product_detail.jsp?oid=3837213 I have never seen clear wax. But I bet that would be a neat thing to try. I also found this info on clear wax. Thought I would share. http://ezinearticles.com/?Clear-Wax-Candles-vs.-Gel-Candles&id=20289 Regina
candlesprite7
Candlewic used to have wax like that....I just checked to see if they still had it but they dont anymore, it was pretty expensive. but to use it you basically needed all new equipment just for that type of wax...it was neat looking though
TxSioux
LOL -- congrats to Yankee for taking lemons & making lemonade! Since they can't figure out how to get a candle to burn clean, they now remarket w/ an outer layer that isn't intended to burn. They are pretty -- looking forward to see how they look after they've been burned.Susan.
Gdawg
humph...clever of them, reminds me of gel looking candles. Don't know if I like the look of it yet though lol
7 Pawz
Just got a couple of those candles the day after christmas, wanted to see how they would burn:cheesy2:
JacquiO
Am I missing something here? The link I get is to a gel jar candle with parrafin wax cookie shaped embeds. I think that could be easily reproduced by someone that does gel candle jars. It's cute. I like the use of candle glitter on the cookies. I saw similiar ones to that at the yankme outlet store. They smelled strong but I'm not a big gel fan.

coco
It isn't a gel candle, it is a resin based clear wax/paraffin blend that is made to (like palm) leave an outer shell. I got something similar from BBW a few years back that I absolutely loved. This would be fun to do with pillars IMO!
Arlene
I really like the look of it. With the buy one get one free sale it's only $11 per candle with flat rate shipping of $6. I'm tempted to order just to see what it's like and how it burns. Couldn't we refill it after it's done burning?7pawz...let us know how it burns please.
