madebymelanie
I have a bride that is requesting a clear glass oval jar roughly 10-14oz; similar to the Colonial Candle jar - doesn't necessarily have to have a lid. Does anyone have any idea where I can find these?I'd like to get some ordered up soon so I have plenty of time to test - her wedding date is in Oct 2008.I've done a search both online and on this and other boards, but I can't find anything that would work. TIA!!

logcabinmomma
I would try to talk her into the rectangular jars as well- as far as I can tell, CC has copyrighted their oval jars... if you ever find them though, let me know! Everyone loves them...-Kristi
ChrisR
Early American has a 9.5 oz. oval tumbler in their closeouts. http://www.earlyamericancandlesupplies.com/store_supplies_info.cfm?id=689&cat=2⊂=
madebymelanie
Yes, I just found out that CC has a copyright on the oval jars - who would have guessed?!? I think I have her content with a different jar. Thanks everyone!!
TxSioux
Those are sure large containers for a wedding. Is she requesting very many? I have a friend that saves her Colonial ovals & I refill them for her. Here's a short oval at Green Leaf: http://www.glcandlesupply.com/9-oz-Oval-Container-Glass-with-Lid_p_61-382.htmlHere's a cool oval from Indiana Glass: http://www.indianaglass.com/prod_detail.asp?ProdID=586&Cat=5&Category=Special+MarketsHere's one at Riekes that's hard to make out, but looks oval: http://www.riekesglass.com/omaha/product/view.asp?id=140Another at Riekes that looks closest: http://www.riekesglass.com/omaha/product/view.asp?id=236HTH -- Susan.
