Thanks!i have the same one, i always make a 3# batch, however, with each batch i make samples, so a portion of the raw soap goes into that mold. i would say that it holds a little over two lbs. i forget the formula to use to calculate the amount it will hold. maybe someone else will chime in soon. wildangel112 Posted October 24, 2005 Share Posted October 24, 2005 I use the 3-section ones as well. The lady I purchased them from recommended a 30oz. batch so as not to overfill. I vary between 32 and 40 oz. 40z fills all the way to the top and depending on how you cut it makes a very thick bar of soap.Also make sure that when you pour if you are at a very thick trace (basically globs) to smooth it out like you would if you were baking a cake.
