ladysj
Does anyone know if Hobby Lobby or Michael's carries anything that would work to make molds? If so, where would I find it and what's it called? I want to just experiment with making some before I spend alot of money on better stuff. TIA
dpowell
I know this isn't the most help, but I have seen some at Hobby Lobby. I was looking at it quite a while ago though and it was very expensive. It was near the clay stuff which was almost right next to the candle supplies. ladysj
Has anyone actually used the stuff from Hobby Lobby or Michaels? Would like to know how well it works? What do most of you use for your models(not the right phrasing) lol

Not sure about Hobby Lobby, though. I've used several different types of silicone; my preference is the RTV. Yes, it's expensive. Good luck! kandlekrazy
I don't know what this stuff costs everywhere, but when I was looking into doing this (for about 15 minutes I considered it!) I bookmarked this place in Ohio.http://www.culinart.net/silicone.html
