cherish
I make candles in the 5, 10 & 16 oz apothacary jars with the dome lids. I'm thinking of using the flat lids for the 10 just for variety. Is this a crazy idea to have some dome and some flat?thanks for your opions!Jodie
NancyJo
Try Fillmore Containers, they have several different types of lids
cherish
I have thought about the wooden, black and brown, but I think i want to stick with the glass for now. jodie
kimmeroo
Hi Cherish!I think that is a good idea! You will find out quickly which lid sells best! i switched from the dome to the flat and it worked out better! I don't like the wooden lids, the look is fine but they affect the scent of the candles...at least they do mine.HTH! Kimmeroo
racolvin
My 8 and 16oz apothecary jars come with a flat glass lid (www.alabastercandlesupply.com) and I prefer it. I put my label on the lids so flat is best. Sadly the 4oz apothecary comes with a dome lid so I can't use it in my lineup and keep my labeling consistent, so I use a 3.7oz Tureen jar for my smaller product. Jane42
We use the flat lid for our wicked jars and the dome lid for the wickless. We also use a round clear label for our scent. They fit on the top of both jars.We also use the 5 oz apothecary jars and have to have separate labels done for those. HTH
cherish
Thank ya'll for your opinions. I personally like the look of the flat better too, but up to now didn't want to pay the little extra. Now i'm ready, but I still have too many dome to switch completely. Patty
HI!We use the flat ones, because we sell wholesale to retail stores, and they can stack, and look better on display. Also, they travel easier when you can stack them.PattyBarnBurnersCandles
