momtohaley2004
HELP PLEASE....somehow, someway, red liquid candle dye was tracked in my kitchen on the linoleum. I have my suspicions. But, anyway, anyone know how to remove it? It's liquid dye from the candle source and I've tried everything I can think of including bleach. Help me please if you know anything that could get it up. We are thinking of selling our house so this is the last thing we need....sigh:angry2:
debscent
I hesitate to say FO as it might eat the finsih off the linoleum, but try the Magic Eraser first--I love that thing. Baby wipes help get it off my hands, etc, or try mineral oil. Good luck!
Aspencreek
Honestly there is not a whole lot that I can think of that would get it up. Try some some comet that is a bit in the tacky consistancy. It might work!!!
joym
Might also try Goo-Gone or Dissolve-it.
marty
Try using a slicone spray or WD-40. I had this happen to me and I had red all over my floor because it was under my shoe. With the silicone spray you can see the dye just coming off of the floor. WD-40 takes a little more rubbing to get it off.Good luck.Maty
Cetacea
Rubbing alcohol should take it right off....if not, use Goo-Gon that stuff is magic
Di_in_AZ
The magic eraser got dye off my counter before, it worked great.

erinmfritz
I don't have any suggestions, sorry. Keep us posted on what works though, we may have the same problem sometime. Oh, and I use hot wax (well, not hot enough to burn me) to get dye off of my hands.
Beth-VT
FO will work great, just wipe it away with warm soapy water after. Same with DiSolveIt, WD_40 or any citric or oil based cleaner.
wildwings
I have also used finger nail polish remover, it worked well.
