flcandles
Did you make sure your glass container was clean on the inside before you poured your wax? Sometimes when i heat my jars in the oven they develope condinsation inside and they will cause big wetspots:angry2: if you dont wipe the inside first. I always make airholes in the candles.so i guess it wouldn't hurt to make another and poke some holes. HTH
grama
I use 4786 and have good luck with adhesion to glass. I never heat my jars, pour at approx 185 and pour very slowly. I use about 1/2 tsp vybar 260 per lb also, saw somewhere that was suggested so tried it and continue to use it. hthI don't poke holes either
Brenny
Hi, I used 4786 for a while and the wet spots drove me crazy. I tried everybodies advice and still had them. From what I have read, the wet spots are almost imposible to get rid of. Because of arthritis in my hands I switched to a softer wax 4630 and with it I have almost no wet spots.
