GregandJenny
I've read that a palm candle should cure for 5-7 days. Should we put the lid on the candle while curing or not? We've only cured our soy candles for 48 hours, so it's never been an issue. Does having the lid on or off make a difference? Thank you so much for any advice! Nicoles_Candles
Good Question, I would like to know the answer also.
mizbizzyb
Some people put the lid on while curing....it comes down to your preference. I personally would put the lids on after the first day to prevent any debris from getting in, not to help curing.
Stella1952
I allow soy container candles to cure with the lids on, or, in the case of pillars & votives, in a cardboard box (don't mix scents!). I want the FO to cure into the wax and as mizbizzyb said, to keep dust and debris off the candle.
Candybee
As soon as the candle wax has set up I trim the wicks and put the lids on.
kandlekrazy
I do the same...lids on after I poke my relief holes and do 2nd pour and it sets up on Palm. Soy, the lids go on after the heat gunned tops set up. My lids do have 2 small air holes in them so the candle can still "breathe".
