ILVCANDLES
Hello! I have been working on trying to shrink wrap my votives. I think my problem is I can't get a close enough seal around my votives, which is causing a lot of excess. Therefore when shrinking I think it has too much play so then it starts to crinkle up. Any suggestions on how to get a closer seal? I am using my impulse sealer. Thanks!
pdevine
Not sure if this will help ya, but when I seal mine, I seal it so that when I bring the arm of the sealer down it touches the side of my votive, but not enough so that it dents the votive. I also push the votive into the bag so that it is sitting snug against the already sealed side of the bag. HTH Portia

ladysj
Do you know if this is heavy gauge shrink wrap? I prefer a lighter gauge.
ILVCANDLES
Thank you everyone! I did order some shrink wrap from the shrink wrap store. I will email them to see if they have any other suggestions. Also, I orded shrink wrap from papermart. I am not sure of the gauge of either one. Can you explain the differance in gauges. Thanks again!
