WSP Liquid Pigments

Recommended Posts

Apparently some liquid pigments are just oxides pre-dispersed in liquid for your convenience, like these from WSP. http://www.wholesalesuppliesplus.com/ProductDetail.aspx?ProductID=4599

Is this a good product? I was thinking of using black oxide to try and get a black swirl color. Maybe this liquid would be the same thing but easier to use and/or less likely to speckle.

With just the plain oxide powder, how much does it typically take to get a good black?

LOL, either Carrie will do as far as I'm concerned. I appreciate both the oxide info and the pointer to the Aussie clays -- those look interesting! When the sample packs are back in stock I'll consider getting one.

I would have guessed it takes more oxide to get jet black.

How much clay would it take?
