cjrhsk
Wow! I didn't know a candle could throw this well. Lime Cooler from CS has a strong CT and HT in cb 135. I poured it over two weeks ago and just lit it up today. It's a nice lime scent. I also tested Mango/Papaya and Cucumber/ Melon from BCN. They have very nice fragrances but both were not very strong. I wish they were because they really are nice.
Candlebuddy
Candle Science is a great supplier ... I love their rating system for soy.
MeltAMemory
I have yet to try a scent from Candle science that did not have a great throw in soy or para-soy blend. If you like lime scents you gotta try the violet lime. Such a pretty scent!
justcountry
I love the lime cooler lite it the next day and had great throw that don't happen often:yay: try putting 1/2 buttercream in it it is so good ,love cs
cjrhsk
Melt, Love the violet lime, too! I tested it last month. I've added it to my must have list.Have to try adding buttercream to lime cooler. Thanks for the idea, justcountry.
MeltAMemory
OMG!!! Lime cooler & Buttercream sounds scrumptious......Thanks for the great idea!!!
Candybee
I love their violet lime! Unfortunately my customers turn their nose up at it. Now coconut lime is a different matter. They love that!
Candlebuddy
Wow, that combo of Lime and Buttercream really has me thinking ... I mix BC with Strawberry or Blueberry, but never thought of Lime. What did you name it? I have a Cheesecake fo, I bet that would go great with Lime too.
justcountry
for lack of a great imagination its just key lime pie I used it with lemon verbena too thats lemon pie with strawberry its strawberry delight, It really works well for a lot of the scents that have a chemical smell not that lime cooler does nor strawberry but hey we gotta play:laugh2:
mindy5140
I've never ordered from them before but the FO's that I want to get have a low rating. Have any of you tried the ones with the low rates in soy before??If so how did they do, I know what may work for you might not work for me but still wondering?? jakalex
I use CB135 and all the ones with a 2 or better are awesome in soy! I have not tried any with a 1 rating.
dabbledoya
The Mimosa and Mandarin is a 'one' rating but has a very strong throw in my 6006 at 8% (keeping in mind, however, that the 6006 is allegedly only 20% soy).
cjrhsk
I haven't used any with a 1 rating from CS. Sorry I can't help you there.
Cissy
Their Lime Cooler is so strong in tarts. One oz per lb is almost too strong, and I do like mine strong. I mix it with a pie crust FO and call it Key Lime Pie. Haven't had a chance to try it yet in soy candles.
WaxFlower
:yay:Glad to hear such raves about this fo. I'm getting ready to place an order with CS and Lime Cooler is on my list. Thanks for everyones input on this one!
