dabbledoya
Can someone please give a review of some tried and true watermelon fos? More specifically, the one's from NG, ICS, or Peak's? GL's grapefruit watermelon is awesome, but unfortunately it's out of stock more than it's in, so I'd rather just make my own concoction! Candlebuddy
Sorry, I don't use watermelon but, if you do a search (type in watermelon), you'll come up with a ton of information. I did a quick search just to see what would come up ... I got 4 pages.
Gravity
I'm testing Millcreek's Juicy Watermelon right now.. and loving it so far... terrific throw in 100% soy.
prairieannie
Peaks watermelon is very strong, the throw is outstanding both hot and cold. It's a very sweet watermelon scent.
julie c
I just tested Peak's Watermelon. It's a keeper for me too. Super strong throw!
dabbledoya
Thanks for the tips---I think Peak's it is. Now off to buy some samples (as if I need any more, but it was payday Thursday--so what the heck, huh?!)
candlelady
Hi! I've used NG's watermelon and it's very true!HTHThanks!
Jami
ICS has wild watermelon that really is strong in soy after curing for a week. They also have watermelon kick that I haven't tried but have seen nothing but positive reviews on it.
Karyn
I use Mill Creek's Juicy Watermelon and it is Awesome in 100% soy.:smiley2:
stacien
Peaks watermelon is strong but it smells to much like candy not a true watermelon. I would sample around because everyone will have a different sense of what that scent should be. I do know I was smelling some YC's the other day. Their particular watermelon was good and true but not one of their stronger throwers. I was quite intrigued.
Alajane
If Peak's version smells like candy, maybe it will be what I'm looking for. After testing quite a few, I finally found a watermelon with a strong throw that my customers love--Alabaster's Jolly Rancher Watermelon--and then they discontinued it!!So next Peak order I must try their watermelon!!Thanks,Jane
tamsoycandles
I have a watermelon I picked up at At Wix End. I've not yet put in wax, but I could give it a try this weekend. It does smell close to a true watermelon.Tony
grama
Glad to hear that Mill Creek is being tested. I just ordered the Cozy Home, Juicy Watermelon, Sunflower, and Fresh cut Roses this morning. Know the reviews on cozy home were great - any other on the sunflower and fresh cut roses. Sorry-don't mean to hijack your thread:wink2:
Terrie
I also love Peak's Watermelon!
Ilona
I have watermellon from sweetcakes. It smells great. Not too candy-ish. But a ballanced watermellon. It is not kick you out of the house strong, but is nice in b&B stuffs. My daughter loves it.Dot sure how it would throw in soy tho. Never tested it in wax. Sylvie
GenWax makes a Watermelon that is realistic-fresh and watery, not candylike.
