If you decide to try it, I would suggest using what ever your choice of hardener would be in this particular bar. Be it beeswax, steric, etc. Something that hardens it up REAL good, would really suit this type of bar and I think it would be fine.

And oh yeah, I wouldn't try doing the spines in one color and the base in another, lol... that WOULD definitely be adding to the issue of the spines breaking off. But they aren't exactly toothpick sized so I don't know, but I can imagine a really hard bar actually working great.

But then again, I personally would NEVER spend $20 on a single mold, lol.
