moniek
Do most people that do candle parties, do them at other people's house or your own? I am trying to get stuff together to do my first one, and I think I would like to do them at my own house. Not sure if that would be the right way to go about it or not. Any suggestions?! logcabinmomma
For me, parties are at other people's homes and if I do something at my home, it's an open house.-Kristi
dpowell
We do open houses at this time (at our house) although we may have one at a friend's house soon. No "party" style stuff for us.

Fire and Ice
When I tried the candle party thing it never worked. Hostesses would book a party and forget to invite people because they themselves forgot about it! Too much effort for very little in sales. I gave up after the third on. cindym
I do both. Only do candle parties at someone elses house if they request it and have at least 10 people. I don't seek out people to have parties. Every candle b and b party I have done I have done between 300 to 700 for 2 hrs . But I hate the lugging etc.. I tend to take more b and b now and less candles. Did one before Christmas and did 700 and had hardly anything to take home was a beautiful thing.
