I really do find by poking holes in my slabs with an ice pick that it creates fractures that will break on their own. I imagine there are a few businesses that carry them. cbarber03 Posted January 11, 2007 Share Posted January 11, 2007 I bought one too and was not impressed. It's so much quicker (and more fund) to just beat the crap out the slab of wax to break it up! With the one I got, I sat there for quite a while with it and it only made a little dent. I don't know if I was using it wrong or what, but it is the kind that supposed to be able to cut pillars, but I'm sure it wouldn't do that either! I'd try using a small hobby table saw or a scroll saw. I would think they would cut up the wax in a heart beat.
