Wicking Trimming

Recommended Posts

I had read a thread somewhere recently about the importance of not only keeping your wicks trimmed, but to get a clean sharp trim, not a sloppy jagged edged trim.

Well, knowing that has made a world of difference in my testing! I went from billows of smoke to a happy flame in a matter of minutes.

I just wanted to say thanks for the info!

I learned from the very beginning especially with gel candles...turn your candle upside down..an clip the wick with either toenail clippers or tiny sharp sissors.

Not only do you get a pretty little flame but...that nasty black stuff doesn't fall into your candle.

Good idea, never thought of using toe nail clippers.
