monkeybritches
This was my very first attempt at a rustic. I have wanted to try them, but never have. It is done in raspberry and vanilla. What went wrong?:undecided It don't look like any I have seen here. Sarahwww.sarahsscentsations.com
Georgia
It looks like you got some good frosting, but it stuck in the mold. You know the drill...what wax, what additives, what pour temp...and did you use mold release? (I use a generic, non-butter flavored cooking spray...just spray, wipe and pour.)Some interesting texture you got going on there...
Jooniper
I think it looks cool! I personally like it when the sides cling a little. It makes it an original...not to be duplicated.
Scented
Agree with Georgia, also asking ... did you chill the mold? Did you cool it down to pull it early?
monkeybritches
I didn't use any kind of mold release. I used just regular parrafin wax with steric. I don't remember if I chilled it or not, but I may have because I couldn't wait. I'm trying another one tonight, and I am waiting ever so patiently...... . I'll let you see it when it is done.
