  1. This is a pillar I did last night with the votive/pillar blend and only about an oz of English Ivy and Hydrangea FO. I am going to try it next in the soy containers to see how good it does. It may be a good scent combo to add to my spring line of scents.
  2. I am trying to make soy containers. I poured several and the first one turned out great. The next ones had cracks in them around the wick. What happened? Also I made the middle one last night and lit it about 11 am this morning and just now blowed it out and this is all that burned down in it. Is that good? It burned down evenly all the way around and the house smells so good. My husband thought it was still burning.
  3. Personally, I love them all. They are beautiful. Whatever you did, it looks good.
  4. No, it's actually just a one pour paraffin blend. I mixed it with some regular paraffin and it is great! Thanks
  5. Here is a before and after picture of a container I did in Brandied Apples for my mom. I love the smell of that and can't wait until our apple festival this fall.
  6. Does anyone know where I can find a dragon mold? I found one of the plastic ones that is the sitting dragon, but I would love to find one that looks like a real chinese dragon. HELP PLEASE!!
  7. These are some new votives and matching tarts done in Blueberry Cobbler and Country Berry Hotcakes. The scent combo smells sooo good together.
  8. Here is a new pillar I did last night. The green is scented in Jade, and the brown, Sandalwood. Not got the rustic look down completely, but this is closer than I've done before, and I'm proud of it. Any opinions??
  9. Here are a couple of things I did today since I didn't get to work since it snowed for the first time all season. The pillar is a combo of French Vanilla Raisin Bread and the water taper is left over from Blackberry Sage Tarts.
  10. They make a high temperature pvc pipe so that might work too. I haven't thought of that, but it would work, just have to spray it with mold release first I guess. Thanks everyone, I am working on trying new things just to see if I can do them. I have a friend bringing shells from Savannah so that's my next project.
  11. You can get a piece of insert from a home improvement store like Lowe's or Home Depot. Just figure what size you want and go look and see what they have, most of the time they can cut it for you to what ever size you want.
  12. Here is my very first attempt at making a hurricane candle. I'm so excited, it actually turned out pretty good:yay: :whoohoo: It is scented in Victorian Rose, with Rose potpourri in it. What do you think??
  13. These are a couple of candles that I haven't done in quite some time. I had a friend remind me about them when she asked me to make them for her. The ice candle is scented in Apricot Vanilla, and the hex is Grandma's Apple Pie. Hope you like as much as she did.
  14. These I actually found at our local dollar tree. If you have one close by, check there. If not, most of the time, you can look at feed stores if you have any close by.
  15. Here are a few things I did today for an order to go out Tuesday. The star is scented in French Vanilla, and the pillar and jar are Home Sweet Home, which I love. Had some left over and made tarts for my pot out of it. Hope everyone has a great New Year.
  16. OH MY GOODNESS!!!! That is BEAUTIFUL!!! I wish I had the time and space to try new things. I will one day!! Can't wait to see more!
  17. Those are beautiful!! Love the taper too, but I really love the water candle best!
  18. I had some extra time today so I thought I would try some more rustics and my peace sign. The first one is countryberry hotcakes, it didn't do that great. The next ones are all Wildberry Zinger Tea. The top didn't turn out right on the last one, don't know what to do. Stick with what I do know I guess.:undecided
  19. I didn't use any kind of mold release. I used just regular parrafin wax with steric. I don't remember if I chilled it or not, but I may have because I couldn't wait. I'm trying another one tonight, and I am waiting ever so patiently...... . I'll let you see it when it is done.
  20. This was my very first attempt at a rustic. I have wanted to try them, but never have. It is done in raspberry and vanilla. What went wrong?:undecided It don't look like any I have seen here. Sarah www.sarahsscentsations.com
  21. On this one, I had some left over regular parrafin wax and used it with about a teaspoon of steric and vybar. I didn't water bath it, just let it cool naturally. They coloring is a vanilla color from bittercreek, they have a large selection of wonderful colors and scents.
  22. Thanks, I'll have to try again some time today. I love trying to do new things It's so much fun!!
  23. I've been a busy girl today. Here are a couple of pillars that I did for my mom and sister for Christmas. They have matching votives also. The first one is a Raspberry/Vanilla blend, and then a Victorian Rose. They are both done with a votive/pillar one pour blend wax, that I love. Sarah www.sarahsscentsations.com
  24. Here is my very first attempt at making a bundt cake. It is scented in Cherry. I don't really know how to make the "frosting" come down more on the sides, but I'll have to figure it out. If any one has any suggestions on how to do that I would love to know. Sarah www.sarahsscentsations.com
  25. I know this is probably going to sound stupid, But here goes. I am wanting to try to start doing the bundt cakes, cinnamon rolls, things like that. My only question is, once they are made, do you wick them then, or do some of the molds have wick holes. Also what do you make the hole with? I know these sound stupid, but I have never done anything other than containers or preholed molds and I would love to branch out and add more stuff to our store. HELP PLEASE!!!
