LindaColo
My homely rebatch is a nice-smelling blend of Sola's Samsara and NG Vanilla-Pear. It also has a nice lather to it. I'm thinking of using it for the ugly soap swap.
dandelion garden
It reminds me of a windswept beach after a big storm....all sand and rocks and branches and stuff....I don't think it's that ugly at all- and I bet it smells great
paulap
I agree with the beach thing. Its like a soap rustic. I like it.
CareBear
I agree it has a certain appeal - you just need to market it right, even if you give it to your family. A color-coordinated label or some raffia and you are all set! This said, it is more than welcome in the Ugly Soap Swap!!! Yum!

CareBear
I knew that was coming lol!So Linda, no major color changes on the Samsara?nothing wrong with being predictable... I held off for a couple of days trying, oh trying so hard to resist. But I couldn't!
LindaColo
So far the color of my rebatched soap has remained steady. Before coloring, the soap was tan. The soap has emerald green mica from Shutterbug's coop. I was aiming for swirls. However, the main part is a light gray/tan with light veins of shimmer emerald. I should have gone for one solid green instead.
SoapInTheCity
I don't think the actual soap is ugly at all. It's pretty cool! I just think the shape is a little wonky! Perhaps just cut it into a straighter rectangle and it will look like great!
