snow
I've been seeing a lot of tiny air bubbles coming out of my wax as I melt it (J50) and I don't remember seeing this before. Is this normal? I've been having a few problems with the candles adhereing to the jars and I was wondering if it could be the J50. I didn't have this problem b4 so I've been trying different techniques, adding crisco, heating in the oven and cooling in the oven. Some candles are turning out good and others still have the problem. But to me it seemed like more air bubbles during the melting period, does this make any sense? Also...I'm thinking of testing a new wax after the Holidays, any suggestions? What wax would be close to J50 but maybe set up a little easier and better? Thanks for all the help! jillgunter
I just switched to the 6006 from the 4630. So far so good. It has really good hot and cold throw. Little 8 oz tin feels up the whole dowstairs of my house.

Thanks for all the help!I love 50/50 from Farmhouse. It has the benefits of both soy and paraffin. It adheres well to the jars, it has a wonderful hot and cold throw, burns even and mostly clean. I think you might like it. BTW~ what are you heating in the oven? I was thinking jars but it was not clear.
snow
I'm heating the jars in the oven and then putting the candles back in the oven to cool slower..but I'm still getting some spots and tiny air bubbles, also some are getting jump lines. Just cant seem to get it right lately, never had this problem b4. It's me baffled! and a bit crazy too....:undecided
