tootie04
I read SOMEWHERE about you using mayo in your soap. I searched here and cannot find it. Anyway how did that turn out?? I seem to remember something about the mayo keeping the CPHP soap in a more liquid form for swirls?? I took a few notes but cant remember where I saw the post....TIAPatricia

Bunny
Ummm Umm.... Let me think here.. Pardon the smoke.. lolI don't do CPHP, I do straight up CP. Out of all the funky things I soaped while on this little spree, the mayo was my favorite. Had a weird texture to it, but let me super totally moisturized. 11 months later none of those soaps are any uglier than when I made them..lol No dos or visible mold or anything. (wow I can't believe it's been that long!)Jen, I did take pics and post them in the gallery. Now, where's that avacado I meant to soap the other day...lol

CareBear
let's see - you have some extra oils, and the vinegar would counteract some of the lye, increasing your superfat further (don't have any idea how much). the protein is interesting. tootie04
Thanks Bunny....I finally found the thread by seaching mayo instead of mayonnaise....I am going to try this in a soap that i need to be really moisturizing and see what happens!!Patricia
Bunny
It does feel a bit weird, and the lather is different. But it works!
DonnaGA
Since mayo is a suspension of eggs and oil, aren't you just adding protein and superfatting?just wondering, donna
Bunny
I think so Donna.. With the egg it's much different than a normal superfat though. Kinda funky!
