idahospud
I am interested in knowing what wax you use for these and what size wicks. I bought one at a Craft Fair, and it didn't burn worth a darn

Candle Man
I make and sell a lot of these and I put a tealite in a class tealite holder in there. I make the full sized and a size smaller. HTH PortiaThose look great. What wax or additives do you use for the icing? My icing, over a period of time, will change color from white to the brown color of the cake. I have tried different waxes paraffin, soy & blends also added additives but the icing always changes color. It seems like the cake color is seeping into the icing. How can I keep the icing white? pdevine
Thank you all! I love making these. For my icing, I use 2 parts votive and 1 part gel wax, with UV Inhib. added. These have been sitting for roughly 5 months and no change in color yet. It's still as white as it was when I poured it. But, it's never too late,,,,,LOL Portia
