darci Posted October 17, 2006 Author Share Posted October 17, 2006 That was what I thought! I made them to decorate a tree I'm sponsoring for our Festival of Trees. Going for a country/prim look. I made a raffia garland, I have a couple dozen of these and I'm going to take some muslin bags, stamp them with gingerbread men (maybe?) and stuff them with scented cotton. And tie some cinnamon sticks with homespun. Then maybe some burlap for a tree skirt... should be cute. if nothing else, my tree will smell better than anyone else's. darci Posted October 18, 2006 Author Share Posted October 18, 2006 I'm thinking I can treat them almost like a wax-dipped bear.If the fragrance fades, you can hit them with a hair-dryer.Store them correctly (air-tight container, no zip locks) and they should be able to use them year after year, assuming there is nothing else in the container to damage them.I do need to play more the the UV stuff though; especially if they want to use again and again.
