slyfoxy46628
Hi all. I just startedc making candles and have tested and tested and believe I'm rady for a show. I also make floral arrangements and that is what the bulk of my stuff will be. I do have about 20 candles though and some firestarters and clamshells. My question is, should I take the jar candles even though I don't have alot of them? Will I look disorganized or something if I only have a few to sell? Thanks
Accents
I guess it depends on how your feel about your candles. Are you sure they're ready, do other people already like them? I don't think it'll hurt to have just 20 out there, just let people know you can take orders for more. As far as looking disorganized, that just depends on how you arrange your booth. You could mix them in with your arrangements or set them apart, half on each side of the arrangements of in the middle of them, or put them with your other wax items. Georgia
My first show I only had 6 scents. I barely filled a 6' table with jars and votives. If you feel confident in your candles, take them. It is a guarantee that you won't sell any if you leave them at home.
Sherl
Do the show and get experience with what you have. People will ask if you have this or that and you can tell them you will test it and try to add it to your line. You never know till you get out there what they like and don't like.
